Dependent on the event the number of permitted guests can vary:

  • Canápes and Champagne Event – 120
  • Music, Drink, Dancing with no food – 200
  • Seated Dinner and Dancing – 64
  • Seated Dinner across 2 levels and Dancing – 78
  • Seated Dinner, with no dancing -100
2. How long before the wedding ceremony should guests arrive? 2016-12-13T13:39:34+00:00

Guests should aim to arrive at the suite 15 minutes before the agreed time with the registrar.

3. Is the Cable Car included? 2016-12-13T13:38:49+00:00

The Cable Car is included for all guests, and incorporated into the overall costs of hosting an event at the Mons Calpe Suite, Top of the Rock.

4. How long is the Cable Car journey? 2016-12-13T13:39:08+00:00

The Cable Car travels the 412m to the Top of the Rock in approximately 6 minutes.

5. Until what time can a wedding go on until? 2016-12-13T13:37:51+00:00

The cut off time for an event at the Mons Calpe Suite is 3am.

6. Does the Cable Car run throughout the event? 2016-12-13T13:37:46+00:00

The Cable Car is operational throughout the event allowing guests to arrive and leave as they please.

7. Are all terraces open to guests to wander? 2016-12-13T13:37:40+00:00

Terraces are open to guests day and night however, during the day we are a popular tourist attraction so terraces will not be exclusive to your guests until the Cable Car closes to the public. See Cable Car winter and summer opening times for further information.

8. Can photographs be taken out on the terraces? 2016-12-13T13:37:32+00:00

Group and intimate photographs can be taken on the terraces however, please be aware that there will be visiting tourists in and around the Top Station during normal opening hours.

9. What if the Cable Car closes? 2016-12-13T13:37:16+00:00

Our guests safety is paramount so in the event of the Cable Car having to close, due to, for example strong winds, Calypso Tours buses will be provided to transport guests.

 

10. In the event that buses are required are these at an additional expense? 2016-12-13T13:37:09+00:00

If the Cable Car were to close for any reason and Calypso Tours buses were required, no additional charge will be applied.

 

11. Can the registrar be booked via the Mons Calpe Suite? 2016-12-13T13:37:02+00:00

12. Can you drive up and park at the Top Station? 2016-12-13T13:36:54+00:00

The Upper Rock Nature Reserve road cannot be accessed by private vehicles beyond St Michael’s Cave unless special permission is requested.

13. Can an event be organised out on the terraces? 2016-12-13T13:35:44+00:00

Events can be set up on the terraces however, only after normal opening hours.

14. Can the views always be seen? 2016-12-13T13:35:30+00:00

Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather therefore, we cannot promise a clear sky however, whatever the weather we promise to make your event a memorable one.

15. What are the Cable Car normal opening hours? 2016-12-13T13:35:20+00:00

The Cable Car is open to the public 7 days a week 09:30 to 19:15hrs (last Cable Car down 19:45hrs), except from 1st November to 31st March; 09:30 to 17:15 hrs (last Cable Car down 17:45hrs).
